3D Scanning & Modelling
Capture physical geometry and convert it into usable reference data, dimensional models and engineering-ready CAD workflows.
Scan data is the start of the job, not the finished engineering model.
3D scanning can capture complex geometry quickly, but the useful output depends on what you intend to do next. RSBSE structures the workflow around inspection, comparison, reverse engineering, packaging, reproduction or redesign.
For manufacturing work, scan data can be cleaned, aligned and used as a reference for controlled CAD reconstruction rather than simply handed over as a noisy mesh.
Capture
Define the region of interest, reference features and required level of detail.
Process
Align and clean scan data, remove unwanted geometry and establish usable references.
Model
Develop mesh, surfaces or parametric CAD as appropriate to the end use.
Verify
Compare against the physical part, key dimensions or design intent before manufacture.
Need an existing part captured or modelled?
Send photographs, approximate size and what you need the data for. That usually tells us more than simply asking for a scan.
